He oversees project identification, grant writing, cost analyses, staff training, and ensures project compliance. Joe's expertise has secured funding for various transportation projects through grants like RAISE, CRISI, ATCMTD, INFRA, and CARSI.
Sarah Sciarrino
Sarah is a transit planner with experience managing a variety of projects including grants, development plans, program management, route implementation, and stakeholder engagement. She excels at developing financial models and securing funding through grants like BUILD, INFRA, and CRISI. Recently, Sarah led a successful grant application for the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority, securing a total of $829 million in federal funding.
Sam Zimbabwe
Sam brings over 20 years of experience in transportation planning, specializing in multimodal policy, capital investments, and equity initiatives. Previously serving as Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), Sam has built strong relationships with regional agencies. He also holds extensive experience in transit-oriented development (TOD) across various U.S. cities, both in the non-profit and private sectors. Sam's proven track record includes developing strategic plans, securing funding, and managing relationships with federal transportation agencies like FHWA and FTA.
