ENR California Recognizes Kimley-Horn as One of the Top Design Firms in the State
In 2023, Kimley-Horn rose to the #6 spot in the California Top Design Firms list published by ENR California, a notable jump from our #10 ranking in 2022.
In an article highlighting Kimley-Horn’s noteworthy work throughout the state, ENR California recognized our diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects, such as the multi-disciplinary consulting services delivered to Los Angeles World Airports at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that support terminal modernization, an elevated guest experience, safer airfield operations, and improved access and regional transportation connectivity. The services include airfield development of taxiways and aprons, a $1.7 billion concourse expansion of the West Gates at Tom Bradley International Terminal, power distribution, utilities, sustainable infrastructure with the integration of low-impact development and reclaimed water systems, and intelligent transportation system integration to improve landside access.
Currently, Kimley-Horn is also the engineer-of-record for the $1B consolidated Rent-A-Car facility as part of the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP). The LAMP program is a major undertaking by the City of Los Angeles to modernize major intermodal infrastructure elements to meet the tremendous growth and tourism associated with the events like the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
“[Kimley-Horn] remain[s] optimistic about the Golden State in 2023 and beyond. Our public and private sector diversity and our geographic reach across the state will continue to support California’s priorities of sustainability, transportation, and housing.”
