Jenni Warnimont Announced as One of Airport Business’s 2024 Top 40 Under 40

In 2024, Kimley-Horn project manager and aviation engineer Jenni Warnimont, PE, was awarded a place among Airport Business’s elite Top 40 Under 40. This annual list of up-and-coming leaders has been circulating for 13 years now, continuing to highlight young outstanding professionals in the aviation industry who are serving clients with unique passion and innovation.

Based in one of Kimley-Horn’s Chicago offices, Jenni has 13 years of varied experience in the aviation field and has completed projects at airports in cities across the US—including Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Charlotte, NC; and Tampa, FL. From initial airfield geometric design and planning to construction phasing and administration, Jenni prioritizes collaboration with airport stakeholders and risk management on her projects.

With a focus on thoughtful mentorship, Jenni provides opportunities for other aviation professionals to flourish. Throughout her tenure at Kimley-Horn, she has helped her team grow from 4 to more than 30 members across different Midwest offices. Jenni also participates in membership and leadership roles within the WTS Greater Chicago Chapter and helps develop design and operational safety standards as part of the Airport Consultants Council Engineering Committee for Safety and Risk Management.

Through her industry involvement, mentorship, and work for clients, Jenni is committed to making aviation safer, more standardized, and more resilient across the board—more than earning her place in this year’s Top 40 Under 40.
