Western Heritage Parking Garage

Kimley-Horn designed the site civil improvements to serve the City of Fort Worth’s 1,200-space parking garage as well as 400 linear feet of public roadway improvements between the new parking garage and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Kimley-Horn completed a drainage analysis of the 60-acre drainage basin and relocated approximately 400 linear feet of an existing 60-inch storm drain pipe, upsizing it to 66 inches. The curb inlets at the downstream end of the new system were designed to act as relief structures during the 100-year storm event for fully developed conditions. Kimley-Horn worked closely with the plumbing engineer to provide an adequate underground drainage system for the lower lever of the parking garage.
