Kimley-Horn developed a master plan and prepared a design-build criteria package for a new 400+ space parking garage at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport Tri-Rail Station. Master plan services included preparation of a planning and zoning due diligence report, appraisal of an adjacent property for potential purchase for a surface parking lot, environmental site assessments, development and evaluation of potential alternatives to increase parking capacity and improve circulation at the stations, and preparation of a Non-Major State Action Checklist to satisfy state environmental requirements for the proposed improvements. A design-build criteria package for the parking garage was subsequently prepared including preparation of a site plan and narrative description of design elements.
