This project included the plans, specifications, and cost estimates, as well as environmental assistance, for all of the off-site improvements associated with the Thunder Valley Casino Expansion Project. The project included widening Athens Avenue one lane on either side of the street, adding two lanes on Thunder Valley Court, modification of the parking lot adjacent to Thunder Valley Court, extension of a box culvert and various other drainage modifications, PG&E pole relocation coordination, modification and new traffic signals, interconnect, and signing and striping. The project also included evaluating on-site circulation and general layout of drive aisles, roadways, and parking facilities.
