Kimley-Horn provided civil engineering services for the site improvements for the Suffolk Health & Human Services Building. The property is the first to be developed in the “Fairgrounds Revitalization and Redevelopment District.” Kimley-Horn’s services included preliminary due diligence, conceptual site planning, traffic impact analysis, site plan construction drawings including extensive landscape and hardscape design, off-site engineering of traffic improvements, and coordination with other project consultants for LEED certification. Upon completion, the development will be the first LEED certified project within the City of Suffolk.
