As part of the on-call contract with the Federal Highway Administration Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division, Kimley-Horn conducted a transportation study to enhance mobility for visitors and staff members to and within the Savannah and Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuges. The results of the study were conceptual short- and long-range transportation solutions for the Refuges. The study served as the transportation component of the comprehensive conservation plan (CCP) for the seven-refuge Savannah National Wildlife Refuge Complex (SNWR). Services also included data collection, field review, and public outreach.
