Kimley-Horn provided a full array of services for Ocean Park in Vero Beach, a mixed-use building that contains 12 high-end oceanfront and ocean-view condominiums, 3,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and a 75-seat oceanfront restaurant. The property previously contained three separate dilapidated buildings badly in need of redevelopment. The firm's services included site planning, assisting the City in crafting an ordinance that would permit the project, park design, streetscape, civil engineering, City of Vero Beach approvals, and regulatory agency permitting. The project also included improvements to the City's adjacent Humiston Park, including parking expansion and extensive landscaping. A new pedestrian promenade, streetscape improvements, and additional parking were also constructed along Ocean Drive.
