Under our NCDOT Natural Environmental Unit on-call contract, Kimley-Horn is providing stream assessment and design services for approximately 2,600 linear feet of stream restoration, relocation, and enhancement associated with the Greensboro Eastern Loop. The project consists of four separate sites ranging in size from 1,600 linear feet to 350 linear feet. These projects are being implemented to offset stream impacts resulting from construction of the four-lane freeway in Guilford County. Kimley-Horn is working in close coordination with the NCDOT Project Development and Environmental Analysis Unit, Hydraulics Unit, and Right-of-Way Unit to prepare the construction drawings.
