Kimley-Horn is providing planning and context-sensitive design services for improvements to the DeRenne Avenue corridor, which was identified in Connecting Savannah as one of the high priority corridors in need of improvement. Due to the competing interests along the corridor, this project includes an extensive public involvement component which will strictly adhere to the Georgia Department of Transportation's Plan Development Process. The project will interlace local context and street function with transportation objectives so that a balanced solution can be achieved and implemented.
