As the prime consultant, Kimley-Horn designed a 1,200-space parking structure for The Village at Allen Campus in Allen, Texas. The parking garage is located at the intersection of Union Way and Allen Station Parkway, adjacent to the Village at Allen Event Center. The garage helps meet the parking needs of the event center as well as other campus uses. Kimley-Horn’s services for this project included a site assessment, traffic, parking, structural, coordination of civil engineering and landscape architecture, and construction phase support. Mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing designs were provided by design-build subcontractor agreements but were fully coordinated by Kimley-Horn as the prime design consultant.
