Kimley-Horn provided site planning, landscape design, civil engineering, and construction observation services for this multi-family in-fill site just 11 blocks from the beach. Due to its location and ability to attract a younger demographic of residents, our site and landscape design favored a pedestrian friendly layout and beach-themed amenities and courtyards. Crossing a faux bridge and entering onto the island, the main street terminates on the "beach house," which serves as the center of activity with the adjacent pool area and separate spa/fitness building within walking distance for all residents. Indigenous tropical plants and shell-patterned concrete walks add to the relaxed community feel.
