For a new citywide aquatics masterplan, Kimley-Horn conducted individual interviews, facilitated focus groups, prepared conceptual designs, and developed projections of probable development costs. Deliverables also included a study of economic and operational impacts to the Parks and Recreation Department. The City then contracted with Kimley-Horn to prepare construction documents for the new $10 million Pirates Bay municipal water park at Wayne Gray Park, which opened in June 2010. We are currently developing plans for another pool at NC Goote Park that will open in 2011.
