Kimley-Horn is rehabilitating a portion of Placer County Water Authority's Boardman Canal. The Baker Siphon is an inverted siphon consisting of an inlet and outlet structure which is connected across a valley with approximately 900 LF of 36-inch RCP. The project consists of evaluating options for rehabilitation or replacement of the 36-inch RCP, as well as designing a new inlet structure for a capacity of 42 cfs. The firm’s services include topographic mapping, site survey, easement of legal descriptions, emergency overflow for the inlet structure, project plans and specifications, review of environmental documents, preparation of Opinions of Probable Construction Costs, bidding assistance, responses to Requests for Information, construction site visits, and preparation of record drawings.
